Zeldathon Team Friends
These people help the Zeldathon Team in different ways, whether it’s moderating our chat, cooking food, playing some of the games, or just providing moral support through days of continuous gaming. Without them, we’d be stuck.

Stephanie Abend
Charity Organizer, Chat Room Moderator
Stephanie Abend played in Zeldathon ‘09, demolishing Ocarina of Time in under 10 hours. She lives near Boston, Massachusetts, and she works as a technician at a research institute. Her parakeet, Loki, is the official mascot of Zeldathon. Stephanie established the relationship between Zeldathon and the National Children’s Advocacy Center, a charity she chose because of her passion for sexual violence intervention and prevention. She is often moderating the Zeldathon chats under the username phira, and she plans to participate in future marathons, as long as she can contribute meaningfully and afford the plane ticket.

I’m not sure how I got involved with the Zeldathon team, but it’s pretty safe to blame Sean. My role lies outside of the gameplay as I was raised as a Playstation/PC gal. I tend towards watching over the chat and trying to keep the chatters involved with the team. I suppose my role has expanded somewhat as I’ve set up the forum and hope to build a stronger community base. Outside of ZT I am an economist, artist, writer, philosopher and procrastinator. Though I specialize in the one and am sort of terrible at the others. I’m currently studying at UCF in Orlando though I originally hail from good ol’ SoFlo. My nerd love goes out to Lord of the Rings, action figures, dinosaurs, Battlestar Galactica, Neal Stephenson, Greg Mankiw, webcomics and ArenaNet.
